John Rogers founded our business in 1996, and while the industry has changed since then, one constant is his desire to provide exemplary customer service. John first learned to multitask and take care of customers in the restaurant industry before translating those skills to construction projects. John has been in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Top 25 Atlanta Home Remodelers for the past decade and has won the Contractor of the Year Award four times.
In 2019, John decided to transition the company to a new generation of leaders while continuing in a sales role. This transition allows him to focus on what he enjoys most: helping clients understand the possibilities of their renovation project and exceeding expectations with creative solutions for their remodeling needs. He looks forward to continuing to participate in designing award-winning spaces and is committed to turning every client into a raving fan. He’s also relishing a bit of newfound freedom and enjoying spending a little more time with his wife of 30+ years, his five daughters, and their numerous outdoor hobbies, which include mountain biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, and camping.
After living in New Jersey for 13 years, Jessica recently moved back home to Georgia in 2018. She grew up in the small town of Ball Ground and then moved to NJ after getting married in 2005 (yes, she married a Yankee!). It was an easy transition for Jessica to return to her roots. Although her husband and two children are still getting used to Southern living, they are truly falling in love with the South!
Art has always been Jessica’s passion. She graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art. While in NJ, she worked with various design companies – this fueled her love for interior design. Working in kitchen and bath design, a tile store, and doing interior design in NYC allowed her to gain knowledge on different levels in the design world. Having experience with creating clients’ visions through developing tile designs for kitchen backsplashes, bathrooms, fireplaces, floors, and more is rewarding. Jessica also enjoys designing kitchen cabinetry layouts and coordinating paint colors. Being a part of the John Rogers Renovations team allows her to tap into each of these areas of the design field. Jessica feels blessed to be able to help clients’ visions come alive.
George began his construction career in the early 80’s after a stint in the US Army. He started as general labor and worked his way up the ranks learning framing, form, and finish carpentry at a high level. He worked as a lead carpenter for several years then tutored under a master mason for a year. He was a foreman for a concrete construction crew. He worked the next few years as a foreman/assistant superintendent constructing high rise and other commercial structures in Atlanta. He spent numerous years as a commercial superintendent/assistant project manager overseeing construction of multi-million dollar projects for both the private sector and the federal government. The last 15 years GEORGE redirected his career to the residential sector and has built a range of turnkey projects from single family homes, apartments, townhomes, & custom homes from $250K to $2.5M. He enjoys the collaborative process with design/build and looks forward to each and every project he is given the honor of being involved with.
He is married with four children and three grandchildren (so far!). He is a North Georgia native with his roots in the Deep South. George recently retired from being a certified “elite” level spin instructor for LesMillsUS and still enjoys cycling when he can and spending time with his family and the four rescue dogs.
Assistant Project Manager
Noah is new to the John Rogers Renovations team and is an aspiring project manager. Before JR Renovations, Noah worked in sales. His experience in sales prepared him for working with a team of individuals to accomplish a specific goal. Customer care and satisfaction have always been of the utmost importance to him. A local to the Atlanta area, he is familiar with the high quality and standards of the surrounding neighborhoods. Noah’s ultimate goal is to be a positive addition to your personal renovation team.
Marshal Bakker is the Estimating Coordinator for John Rogers Renovations. He has been in the residential construction industry since 2001. He worked for John Rogers Renovations for 4 years from 2007 to 2011, and he returned in June 2019 to take on the task of Estimating Coordinator. He uses his 19 years of industry experience to provide our customers with comprehensive and accurate pricing.
Heather is a Florida native (GO GATORS!), where she lived for 21 years. She moved to Denver briefly before deciding to call Georgia home in 1998. Heather has two children who are active in school and sports. During the summer of 2013, Heather completed her degree, graduating with honors in Business Management at Kennesaw State. Heather has been a part of the team at JR Renovations since 2011. Having worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies, she brings a vast range of business experience to the company.
Annah has worked as a content manager for various Atlanta companies and churches for the past 7 years. While always looking for fresh and creative ways to present the John Rogers Renovations brand, her goal is to keep the heart and vision of JRRenovations at the forefront of everything she creates.
